What We Do

Three initial ways a kid can get involved

  • Local Recreation League Style team

These teams are for kids in the beginning stages of skill development.

  • Local AAU Team

These teams are for our kids that may play school ball or have participated in local AAU tournaments.  Most of these kids have a base level of skill and compete successfully in local AAU teams.

  • Puma Circuit

These kids have elite level skill and generally play for their schools.  These tournaments may have College Scouts watching.

What do we attempt to do for every kid that participates in one of our three programs (we do these things based on donations received):

  • A minimum of 7 or more weeks of free basketball competition & training through practices, training sessions with elite level trainers and coaches.

  • A free basketball uniform.

  • 2 to 3 free practices a week.

  • A free high-quality backpack.

  • Rides to and from games for those who don’t have access to transportation.

  • Food and water at tournaments for kids that need support.

  • Assistance with job applications, interviews and engagement with programs that assist kids in getting jobs.

  • Basketball shoes for those in need.

  • Financial courses so the kids can learn how to handle money.

  • A graduation dinner to mark their success in staying with the program.

  • An opportunity to earn scholarships to play on other AAU teams that could lead to college coach exposure.

  • Enrollment in programs like Scout U that give the kids a pathway to College scholarships.

  • Team trips to Universities so they can be exposed to the various Colleges in the area.

  • Free Holiday meals for those families in need that are engaged with our program.
